Meet The Girls!

Shelly is Steve's sister/my future Sister-in-Law! A UMass grad, she enjoys travelling and is an awesome cook. Shelly and her husband, Bill, live in Sutton, MA.

Melissa and I met on the Jeb Bush campaign in South Florida in 2002. She is an attorney and lives in Michigan. A University of Michigan grad, we are both big college football fans!

Louise is my younger (not so little - she's 6ft!) sister and my Maid of Honour. She recently graduated from law school and enjoys rowing (crew)

Emma and I started school (Fulneck) on the same day. Coincidentally our Dads also went to school together. We competed against each other in numerous Speech and Drama festivals. Emma recently started her own Public Relations company! Emma attended the University of Lincoln (just across the river from my alma mater, the University of Hull!)

Annabel and I met at school (Fulneck). We didn't exactly get along until we somehow ended up sharing a room in St Petersburg on the school trip to Russia! We were both senior prefects (Annabel was Head Girl and I was House Captain). Annabel is a graduate of Cambridge University and now teaches Biology at Warwick School in the UK.

Important Travel Information

Many of you will be arriving in Boston by 'plane and there are some important things to note:

1. For the Brits (and any other international visitors), you must visit this website (ESTA) to gain authorisation for entry to the US. This is in place of the usual green visa waiver cards that have in the past been completed on the 'plane.

It is VERY IMPORTANT to take care of this sooner rather than later! It is a simple process and only takes a few minutes. Authorisation must be obtained at LEAST 72 hrs before travel. Once obtained, it is valid for 2 years.

Please refer to www.cbp.gov/esta for more information (I am not much help with this as I have a visa so this does not apply to me)

2. As Steve and I learned on our trip to England last Christmas, it is important to check in online for your flight if you want all your party to sit together. Please refer to the website of your specific airline for more information but online check-in usually opens 24 hrs prior to your scheduled flight time.

Honeymoon

After much deliberation, Steve and I are going to the British Virgin Islands for our honeymoon! I cannot wait! There is a hammock and numerous rum cocktails with my name on them!

For more information on BVI, visit www.bvitourism.com

Less than 3 Months to Go!

Where has time gone?!? It's scary how close the big day seems now! 80 days to go!
The invitations went out this week. I'm contemplating creating a Facebook group so people can 'meet' before June.
Things are progressing nicely! We booked our honeymoon (more on that later), I started my dress fittings, the 'wedding corner' of our dining room is slowly taking up more and more space!
